Catching up on some more “old” pictures…

Hall, Austria (just east of Innsbruck). This 6 km road goes up (and I mean up) the mountain. I had to get a shot of this guy biking up the road. The speck in the distance is a hang glider.

The big news from Macerata is that our program director has returned. Filiberto had undergone surgery in Milan and was taking longer than expected to recover. His wife Angelica did a fabulous job in his absence, but I know he was going crazy not being here. He is now back in Macerata, and the doctors let him leave the hospital a few hours each day, but he must spend his nights there, at least for a while.

Nicole’s first week in school was a big success. She was somewhat shocked to learn she also had school on Saturday, but she was willing to go (we gave her the option). She’s made friends in school and even met up with a few for a couple of hours to walk around town.
